Math of Lenses

DoNow: What are the two shapes of lenses and the sign conventions of their focal length? How do they compare with curved mirrors? (notes)

AIM: I can use key vocabulary to describe the application of the optics equation previously used for mirrors to the lenses. I can identify how the sign reveals the image formed and the type of lens.
